Export the berth text file to a folder

Use the Export Berth Text File form to export the berth model to a text file for a single yard.

This text file is not certified for direct import into XPS. Instead, the file is intended to facilitate the manual editing of the berths.txt file located in the XPS data folder. For more information, see Create the berths.txt file (on page 1) in the Navis N4 XPS Advanced Vessel Planning and Control manual.

To export the berth text file:

1. In the Berth Model form (on page 1), click Export File.

2. In the Export Berth Text File form, in the Yard look-up field, enter the name of the yard for which you want to export the file.

3. Click OK.

4. In the Export File form, browse to the folder where you want to save the file.

5. In the File Name field, enter a file name.

6. Click Save.

N4 exports and writes the file to the specified folder.
